Where Pop Meets Musicals
Popsicals aims to provide children between the ages of 4-14 years, with rounded musical theatre training and a sense of performance, as well as building social skills and confidence within a group. Each term, songs, dances and drama scenes, from both the musical theatre world and the pop world, will be studied and rehearsed working towards a themed show. The children will then have the opportunity to perform at the end of term to friends and family, showcasing what they've learnt. Whilst encouraging children to reach their full potential in class is important, Popsicals is all about the fun side of performance, the passion of music and the pure enjoyment of movement. Not about technique, grades or exams. Any child who decides to join Popsicals need not have any previous dance, drama or singing experience.
